Target Toy Clearance: Today Could be the Day! Check your Stores!

Just a quick little post to say that my regular store had all of its toys marked down TODAY (Wed, 1/11)...they were already marked down when the store opened.  There was one big consolodated aisle and the endcaps were jammed full, too.  However, all of the Legos were just 50% off.  There were TONS of Legos, but alas...none at 70% off.  Got a few little things and I'm happy!

NOTE:  This store typically marks down on Wednesday and it happened once again this year.  However, MOST of you will find that your markdown will be tomorrow.  (And hopefully no one will have to wait until next week...that would be surprising).  Get up and get there bright and early!


I will post a photo and a list of what I got when I get home, but I hardly picked up anything because I got most of what I wanted last week.  But some of the things I saw but did not get:
Little People Sets (pirate ship, nativity)
Play Kitchens (Disney Princess, Circo, and a big Step 2 one)
Polly Pockets
Matchbox Sets (Ship, Aircraft Carrier)
A few Barbie things...not much
Lots of Teacup Pigs
Bop It
Weeble Wobble Set
Mind Flex
TONS of Baby Dolls

  1. Checked one of my Nashville stores and still not 70%. And there weren't that many toys at 30 and 50 %. So don't know what is up with that. Might try to check another one, since you mentioned your going 70%.

  2. Thanks for the info on what day Target normally marks down! Even as an avid Target shopper and bargain hunter, I did not know that. Yesterday, I discovered my local Target is going through a remodel and I hit the clearance jackpot!

  3. Fox River Mall Appleton WI, went 70% off today (Thursday 12th). The Lego is still 50% off. I got there at 8.30 and there already a couple of Moms with full carts. I got some good deals for future birthday gifts. :)

  4. I survived taking my son(3)& nephew(2) on our Target run. We got to 1st Target 0915 only ones there. Took them out of basket and told them to put in toys I showed them day before. We filled basket and checked out by 945, on to 2nd store grabbed just a few things then on to 3rd one. They were awesome helpers and quick. Together we got about $768 worth of toys for only $245. I covered 6 little boys bdays and grabbed a few things for items for 3 little girls. Awesome day!! Looking forward to July.
