Target: Glade Holiday Candle Deal

There is an awesome deal right now at Target for Glade holiday scents. (You will likely find these on an endcap...not with the rest of the Glade candles). I was going to make this the Target Weekly Deals post, but the scenarios for this deal got really long, so it's getting its own post!! The deal has been going on a week now, but I wanted to wait until I tried it out before I shared it here. I'm happy to report that it IS as good as it seems. And you can do it as many times as you want.

Glade Holiday Scents (Scented Oil tins, glass holders, and refills/4 oz glass jars): $2.50 each, Buy 5 and get a $5 Target Gift Card

There are countless ways you can work this deal, depending on what coupons you have. Here is a scenario that requires only one printable coupon and coupons you can get in the products themselves. All of the red scented oil tins should have a $1.50/1 coupon inside the lid of the tin. (For some reason just the red ones). Use those for this scenario. (And PLEASE only use the coupons from the tins that you are actually buying...don't be a jerk like someone who went through all of the tins at the Ward Pkwy Target and took ALL of the coupons, leaving the tins behind).

Scenario:

Buy 4 tins & one refill for $2.50 each

=$12.50

-4 $1.50/1 coupons from inside those tins

-1 Buy one tin/get a refill for free printable coupon

($8.50 in coupons)

=$4.50 out of pocket

+$5 gift card

=FREE plus a $.50 moneymaker after coupons/gift card

Here is another scenario for the glass scented oil holders. These should have a $2/1 coupon at the top of the package (kind of shoved under the cardboard, but you can easily remove it). Again, only use the coupons from the packages that you are actually BUYING. (Can you tell I was super annoyed at the person who took all of the coupons?!)

Scenario #2:

Buy any combo of 5 glass holders/refills/tins (including at least one refill and two glass olders)

=$12.50

-2 $2/2 coupons from inside the glass holders

-One buy one holder/get a refill free printable coupon

($6.50 in coupons)

=$6 out of pocket

+$5 gift card back

=$1 total after coupons/gift cards

The best part of this deal is that you can also submit these purchases for a $5 rebate from SC Johnson. That rebate requires you to buy 3 SC Johnson products, including Glade. Make sure you do these deals in separate transactions if you want the rebate b/c it requires an ORIGINAL receipt. You can submit up to three separate rebate forms. That is a SUPER moneymaker!

Like I said, there are a ton of ways you can work this deal depending on what coupons you have. There is also a Glade coupon in the 9/20 Smart Source that would work for this deal. And, who knows if they will put out additional coupons between now and December.
